Beceite Ibex have large and ringed horns that spread out to the sides like airplane wings, which is a characteristic that distinguishes this species from other subspecies of ibex in Spain. We will be hunting in a private hunting ground located in the provinces of Castellón and Teruel, bordering the Tortosa Beceite national reserve. These are the best and most original hunting areas for Beceite Ibex, which have been managed for years so that hunting is now done with a 100% success rate. The areas where we will be hunting are the cradle of Spanish ibex in the province of Castellón, where local ancestors practiced hunting as a way of life as early as 28,000 years ago, as can be seen in the cave paintings of this area.

Hunting Information
The hunt itself will take place throughout the day with a team of professional hunting guides who know the terrain, animal preferences, their numbers, and location perfectly, which is essential for achieving success in hunting. Small terraced fields alternate with shrubs, oaks, and pine forests, allowing us to approach the game unnoticed to the desired shooting distance.
Weather
It depends on the chosen month; in general, we can expect pleasant Mediterranean weather with daily temperatures around 16 degrees Celsius. However, following the principle of "there is no bad weather, only poorly dressed hunters," we recommend checking the weather before departure and adjusting both hunting and civilian clothing accordingly.
Equipment and Gear
Given the weather and nature of the hunt, it is important to have suitable clothing that is sufficiently breathable during necessary walks. The basics are layers of quality functional clothing as well as sturdy high boots. We hunt game at various distances, so it is important to be prepared for different shooting situations. However, we recommend calibers with a flatter trajectory especially for shooting at longer distances. The professional guide is equipped with shooting sticks and observation equipment with high magnification (such as scopes or ultrazoom cameras), which they use to read the game perfectly and also use it as a tool for client approval of the hunt. We recommend carrying a comfortable backpack with personal items such as a water bottle or spare clothing.
