Hunting Information

The most ideal and established flight connection is via Turkish Airlines with a stopover in Istanbul. The journey begins at Vienna Airport. Transporting weapons by the airline is straightforward and simple, and our company will handle all necessary formalities. At the airport in Bishkek, a vehicle will be ready to take the group to the base camp. The trip takes about 8 hours, depending on the specific location of the hunt.

 

Weather

In October and November, daytime temperatures are around 5°C, dropping to -5 to -15°C at night. During the day, if the sun is shining, the cold is not as noticeable; at night, you sleep in heated huts. The beginning of the season is marked by more pleasant temperatures, but there are longer transfers on horseback, requiring overnight stays in fly camps for time efficiency. As with any high-altitude hunt, you must be prepared for all weather changes, whether you choose the beginning of the season or the winter period. Therefore, you need warm and waterproof clothing, with layers as the basis, quality shoes with a hard sole and Gore-Tex membrane, white camouflage clothing for winter hunts, sunscreen with a high UV factor, lip balm, and high-altitude sunglasses with dark lenses. For overnight stays outside the base camp, a quality sleeping bag is necessary. A backpack and a sturdy thermos are also useful.

 

Accommodation and Food

In this area, we have several base camps, all adequately equipped to make the group feel comfortable. Base camps are equipped with generators, plenty of clean drinking water, a satellite phone (for emergency calls), and a sauna/shower. Food is plentiful and simple, considering the conditions.
